Hello everyone,
Let me take you through something I’ve poured my heart into – a full-stack AI chatbot platform called Flollama.
I built Flollama not just as a coding project, but as a statement. A statement that shows how far one can go when curiosity meets code. It’s more than just a chatbot. It’s my vision of how open-access AI can look, feel, and work for real people in real situations.
So allow me to speak freely and from the ground up. You can think of this as a 100-page speech – but one that doesn’t just present features. It reveals thinking, building, debugging, deploying, and dreaming.
Let me start with the name – "Flollama". It’s a fusion of Flow + llama: "Flow" suggests smoothness, like the flow of a smart conversation, while "llama" pays tribute to Meta’s LLaMA model, the core brain behind this project.
You can pronounce it like "flow-LAH-muh":
Easy, smooth, quirky. Just like the UX I imagined for it.
🔗 You must explore before you judge:
Please, take a deep look. Not just use the app, but inspect the frontend – its styles, responsiveness, animations. Dig into the GitHub repo too – read the components, understand the structure. Try to feel the architecture the way I felt when writing it. Don’t just view the project. Reverse-engineer the mindset.
I wanted to make a free, open-source AI chatbot that anyone can run on their own. No locked-down UI, no login walls, no paid APIs required.
People deserve access to good AI without paying monthly for something that can run locally. That’s where Ollama comes in. And that’s why Flollama exists.
